Discipleship
We believe that spending time with faithful Jesus followers is critical to our faith development. So we at CEH offer lots of fun opportunities to be together:
Fellowship Dinners--Are small gatherings of folks (8-12) which occur around a meal in a member of the congregation's home. These gatherings happen at least monthly. We have groups for adults only and groups for adults and kids.
Hiking Group--Is a mixed group of men and woman, couples and singles who gather twice a month, June through September, to share a meal and a hike along one of the many trails in Grand County.
Men on Bikes (MOB)--Is a men's mountain bike ride that happens on Wednesday nights at 5:30pm. All mountain bike levels are welcome. Come join as we explore the many MTB Trails in Grand County.
Fellowship Time -- Is offered after every 10am worship service as a time to converse and enjoy the company of those with whom you just praised God. Coffee, Juice and snacks are provided.
Fellowship Luncheons -- Once a quarter we host a Fellowship lunch after the 10am worship service.
Youth
Summer Mission Trip -- Our young people participate in a mission trip during the summer.
Outreach
Mission of the Month -- Every Month CEH has a mission of the month, where folks are invited to support it through financial donations, through sweat equity--literally helping the organization--and through prayer.
Membership
All who acknowledge Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior are invited to become members of Church of the Eternal Hills.
There are three ways to join CEH:
1. By Affirmation of Faith, this happens when an adult is baptized;
2. Reaffirmation of Faith, this happens for those who have been previously baptized but have drifted away from membership in a congregation;
3. Letter of Transfer, this happens when an active member of another congregation desires to join with CEH.
Before you meet with the session to be welcomed into the congregation, we suggest that you attend one of our orientation classes. We periodically schedule these classes which explore basics of the Christian Faith, basics of the Presbyterian Church (USA) beliefs, and basics of CEH.
